A distinct downgrade

So with this long-awaited update, I *still* cant just set it on silent as a default and now I I have lost the ability to choose what kind of history Id like to focus on? As if that werent bad enough, the grey-on-grey text of the answers prior to the question coming up is rather difficult to see. Not super happy. Wouldve given the app 4 stars before this.
